Shallow Waters:
Sinkage/Squat in Open  Waters x 2
 
S = (Cb x  v2 / 100) x 2 (Metric System)
S = (Cb x v2 / 30) x 2 (English System)

V = Ship’s Speed
Cb = Block Coefficient
