Did you ask how is seafarer's life on board?
I've been in this seafaring profession for many years. When I was a cadet, deck rating and a junior officer I can't imagine how I completed each contracts for years and months. I know the hardships of every seafarer working on tankers. But few of the events are being known to anybody. Especially those sleepless operations. These are some of the things where many of us experienced. Those cargo pushings of more than 60 degrees inside the cargo tanks. When you where out of the cargo tank the temperature was very cold. During cargo tank washings depending on the previous cargo and cargo to be loaded. Cargo tank's mopping and drying. Ballast tanks inspections. Void spaces inspections. Passing canals and locks. Maneuvering and cargo operations. And talking about inspections, there are lot of inspections to be ready at all times. Lists of jobs to be done daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and so on. Adverse weather is also a nightmare to every seafarer. Being a seafarer is a tough job and yet exciting. I just extend my best regards to all seafarers and family. Stay safe and God bless.

Waves in good weather
Early in the morning in a beautiful day. Unexpected waves encountered even in a good weather. This situation made me realized that even if you have a good life, hardships might be encountered throughout the journey as long as we live. God bless to seafarers, family, friends and everyone.

Duterte; Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow
I am one of the seafarers or OFW's who want peace of mind for the family safety at home. My family and I visited Davao city and stayed there for 3 days. For us Davao city is one of the best places to live in many aspects. We have seen a campaign poster, "Duterte: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow"

Did you know about Seafarers?
Did you know? Some Seafarers spent almost half of their lives at sea away from their family. Only seafarers can explain their different feelings and reasons. Did you ask them about their job? Did you ask them about their colleagues? Did you ask them if they are okey? But, of course the answer will be "I'm fine and don't worry". It is because they don't want that their love ones will be worried. Can you imagine working while in bad weather? Did you ask them if they can sleep well? Did you ask them if they can eat properly during rough seas? Did you know the hardships, risks, stress and pressure being handled onboard? Did you know how they can handle things on board while their family has a problem at home? Did you know their feelings in times when one member of the family has an illness? Did you know their feelings when the allotment will not be on time and financially in need? Did you say thank you to them?
